MANIFEST, held in the picturesque town of Ericeira, places ecological awareness at the core of its values. This year, the festival strengthens its commitment to sustainability by highlighting the importance of environmental preservation, both through its programming and its production practices.

The festival’s promotional spots were created using sand from Ericeira’s beaches, which will be returned to the beach, respecting the natural cycle and reinforcing the message that it’s possible to create without causing harm.

Also as part of this focus, the festival is proud to present, at the beginning of each film session, “Discernment”, a film by Portuguese director Luís Giestas, which sensitively and artistically invites us to reflect on the impact our actions have on the balance of ecosystems.
